Store Locator

A Store Locator pairs a map with a searchable, filterable list so visitors can find your nearest branch, dealer, or pickup point. Visitors search across the fields you publish, filter by category, and sort by distance from where they are, with detail panels for each result.

Keep locations in a Google Sheet and the locator stays in sync automatically — add a store in the sheet and it appears on the map within minutes.

What you can do

How to create a store locator

  1. 1

    Create a Store Locator

Start a new site and choose the Store Locator type.

  2. 2

    Add your locations

Connect a Google Sheet or upload a file with latitude and longitude columns. Keep the address as its own column — it shows in result panels and the search matches against it.

  3. 3

    Configure search & filters

Set filter categories and the fields shown in each result panel.

  4. 4

    Publish or embed

Add the locator to your site with a custom domain or an embed.

Store Locator FAQ

How do I add a store locator to my website?

Build a Store Locator in Mapji, add your locations, then embed it on your site or publish it to a custom domain — no code required.

How do customers find the branch closest to them?

The Near Me button reads their browser location and sorts the results by distance. They can also type into the sidebar search, which matches across the fields you publish — store name, town, or an address column — and combine that with your category filters.
