Time Slider Map
A Time Slider Map animates your data across a timeline so viewers can watch change unfold — spread of an event, growth over years, or seasonal patterns. Scrub the slider or hit play to see points appear and fade by date.
Map a time column from your data and Mapji builds the timeline automatically.

Time Slider Map FAQ
What data do I need for a time slider map?
Each row needs coordinates and a date or time value. Mapji uses the time column to build the animated timeline.
Can viewers control playback?
Yes. Visitors can scrub the slider, step one period at a time, or play and pause — with the space bar and Home/End keys once the panel has focus. They can also collapse the panel to clear the map. Playback speed, looping and how much of the past stays on screen are yours to set.
