A Crowdsourced Map lets your visitors contribute to the map: they drop a pin, fill out a form you design, and submit. You review submissions in a moderation dashboard before approved pins appear publicly.

How to create a crowdsourced map

Create a Crowdsourced Map
Start a new site and choose the Crowdsourced Map type.

Define the area & form
Restrict the submission area — to a country, state or county picked by name, or a shape you draw — and build your form fields.

Collect submissions
Visitors drop a pin and submit; entries land as pending.

Moderate & publish
Approve, reject, or mark spam — approved pins show on the public map.
Crowdsourced Map FAQ
Do visitors need an account to submit?
No. Anyone who can open the map can drop a pin and submit the form — there is no sign-up step. Spam is handled with an optional CAPTCHA, rate limiting, and a moderation queue rather than by forcing people to register.
Is there spam protection?
Yes. Crowdsourced maps include rate limits, a daily cap, optional Turnstile CAPTCHA, and a honeypot field.
